How to debug C#-methods while called from R through rClr?

I'm developing a library in C# to be used in R-applications by means of rClr. It would be convenient to debug the library while called from R. I have tried to accomplish this by setting the VS-project to start RScript.exe (Properties / Debug / Start external program) with my R-script as parameter (Properties / Debug / Command line arguments). When press Run from VS, the R-script runs as expected. But the execution doesnt stop at any breakpoints. So I'm not able to do the debugging.

This method works fine with ExcelDNA which is used to call c#-methods from Excel. So why doesn't this method work with rClr?
